Alex Potter was lucky enough to have a mother who sang to him as a child and a father who bought him history books - so ended up singing Early music.

He also loves cooking and eating with friends, reading, being outdoors and has a passion for British TV comedy.

After reading George Orwell’s Ninteen-Eighty-Four he is terrified of ending up in Room 101.

The background pictures on this website are from The Queen’s house in Greenwich, a baroque masterpiece near where Alex grew up in London and Southwark Cathedral, where he sang as a chorister.

He lives in the Lüneburger Heide in Germany and is an embarrassing father to two teenage daughters.
